The missing relay medals are here! They are labeled and packaged and ready to go in the bags at Champs! Thanks for your patience.
It was a beautiful day at IVC for a quick and fun All Stars meet with some very fast swims, some exciting races, and most importantly, many smiles.

Jack Suski swam a 24.75 in the 11/12 Freestyle, tying J. Burns of TPC's 1986 record. Jack also broke a record in the 11/12 Butterfly, swimming 28.08, just 3/100 faster than Trent Williams of Marinwood in 2004. Liam Shorrock set a new record in the 13/14 Backstroke with a time of 27.53, beating the 2004 record of 27.86 set by J. De Moss of SHST in 2004.
A new girls' All Stars record was set in the 13/14 Freestyle by Elisabeth Rosen of Sleepy Hollow, who swam a 25.09 to break a 15-year standing record of 25.44 set by L. Masterson of TPC. Way to swim!
Congratulations to the kids and their parents and coaches on the Marinwood and the Rolling Hills teams who tied for first place in the Fun Relay Hawaiian Style. "Lei" to Go!

The Strawberry Seals would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped make the meet run smoothly. We had class A help! We would especially like to thank the following people:
John Nolan, the MSL's computer guru, completely put together the seeding of the meet, with the added order this year of separating out boys' and girls' results, and worked throughout the meet to ensure that all ran smoothly. In addition, he had the results ready for posting within a few short hours of the end of the meet. Where would we be without you, John? Thank you!
Robin Gerrity of Marinwood, was helpful not only as the head referee but also as a mentor who guided our team's planning based on the successful All Stars meet that she and the Marinwood team ran last year.
Behind the desk, we had a couple of dedicated and amazing EasyMeet operators who stayed for the whole meet and were instrumental in the success of the meet: Karen Mangan of the Tidalwaves and Carmen McHugh of Marinwood. Thanks also to the awesome announcers Leslie Salazar of Marinwood and Pat Ravasio of the Tidalwaves, and to Strawberry's own announcer and Hawaiian swimmer, Craig Dykman. (Not to mention our talented coach Anna Tarka, who sung the National Anthem for us.)
Because of the dedication of all of the teams' volunteer coordinators, the meet ran with almost no hitches. They include, Suzanne Schmidt of Novato, Brook Beasley of Terra Linda, Jessica Jakobi of the Tidalwaves, Bob Jarratt of Sleepy Hollow, Gina Vaziri of Swimarin, Beth Reizman of Lucas Valley, Leslie Salazar of Marinwood, Jenny von Blankenburg of Rolling Hills, and Ann Hall of Scott Valley.
Last but not least, we thank the Novato Riptide for helping us with set-up and clean-up and allowing us to use their equipment. They were a pleasure to work with!
Thank you everyone,
The Strawberry Seals
